EWM and the Women in Mathematics Committee of the EMS organize jointly two events on the occasion of the 6th European Congress of Mathematics in Krakow, Poland, on July 2-7, 2012.
- A series of mathematical lectures by distinguished women lecturers took place on Sunday July 1st in the afternoon in Aula Magna.
- A panel discussion on "Redressing the gender balance in mathematics: strategies and outcomes" open to all participants, during the congress.
Registration was opened till 15 june.
Moreover, thanks to the support of Google and Foundation of Compositio Mathematica, EWM sponsors the participation of over 30 young women mathematicians for their local expenses in 6ECM Krakow.
