Alicia Dickenstein wins the TWAS Prize 2015 in Mathematics


Alicia Dickenstein, vice-chair of IMU,  won the TWAS (world academy of sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries) 2015 Prize in Mathematics
"for her outstanding contribution to the understanding of discriminants"

Since its creation there were 33 winners for this Prize:  31 were male, 2 female (Alicia and an Indian woman who got the prize in 2005, Parimala Raman)
