The first MOOC « Être en responsabilité demain : se former à l’égalité femmes-hommes » (« Be in Responsibility Tomorrow: to Learn about Equality between Women and Men ») has been inaugurated on June 3, 2015, in the presence of the French Secretary for Women Rights, Pascale Boistard. This MOOC has been developed by the French associations femmes et mathématiques (Women and Mathematics), Femmes & Sciences (Women & Science), Femmes ingénieurs (Women Engineers), Réussir l’égalité Femmes - Hommes (Succeed in Equality between Women and Men) and the Conférence des grandes écoles (Conference of Higher Schools), under the auspice of the Conférence des grandes écoles. This MOOC is part of the collection of MOOC's, named SILLAGES. See http://sillages.info/lancement-du-premier-flotmooc-sur-legalite-femmes-hommes/
This course, which is a tool among others, is primarily aimed at students preparing their competitive exams to enter higher schools, or at future teachers, but also at all women and men who are motivated by the issues related to equality between women and men.
The learners may follow the course in autonomy, but are also advice to subscribe (for free) to benefit from the forum where they will share their questions and their experience with the other learners and with the accompanying team of the course.
The course is open by sessions for the subscribers (who will be able to write on the forum), or all year around for the people who prefer to study alone (and only read the forum).
The first session was June 15-July 31, 2015, and the next one is going to be in the last quarter of 2015 (the precise dates will be fixed later).
