”Laser Dynamics”
(Head: PD Dr. Uwe Bandelow) starting at the earliest possible date.
The position is associated with the research project of the German Research Council
“Self-organization and control in coupled networks and time-de-layed systems”
within the framework of the Collaborative Research Center SFB 910 „Control of self-organizing nonlinear systems: Theoretical methods and concepts of applications“. Necessary for employ-ment is a scientific university degree in mathematics or physics. Moreover, some background in nonlinear dynamics, delay differential equations, or coupled systems is desirable. The ap-plicant is expected to work on a PhD thesis project.

The initial appointment is limited for two years and can be extended. The reduced work sched-ule is 29,25 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD scale.
