Applications are invited for the post of Post-Doctoral Research Assistant in noncommutative ring theory, Lie theory, and related areas.

The position is funded by the EPSRC grant “Enveloping Algebras of Infinite-Dimensional Lie Algebras”, held by Susan Sierra, which applies techniques from ring theory, noncommutative algebraic geometry, and Poisson algebras to investigate a variety of questions related to these enveloping algebras. Candidates with expertise in infinite-dimensional Lie algebras and their representations and/or Poisson algebras or related topics are particularly encouraged to apply.
