UNIVERSITY OF SURREY – Lectureships in Mathematics

Applications are invited for two Lectureships in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Surrey, UK.

Applicants are expected to have a PhD (or equivalent) in Mathematics or a closely related discipline and carry out research which has a high level of originality, significance, and depth associated with any of the following research themes:
Maths of Life & Social Sciences, Stochastic Analysis, Dynamical Systems, Nonlinear PDEs, Data Science, and Quantum Information.

The duties of a Lecturer include supervision of PhD students, applying for research funding, scholarship, contribution to administration,
and teaching at the undergraduate and masters level.

An application consists of a Curriculum Vitae, a list of publications (highlighting up to 5 publications regarded as most significant),
a statement of future research plans (no more than 2 sides of A4), and a summary of teaching experience.
