The Department of Mathematics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam welcomes applications for a position (or perhaps two)
for a PhD student who also wants to contribute to the educational program
of the department as a junior lecturer (and thus acquire teaching experience).
The position is for 6 years instead of the usual 4 for a “standard” PhD student.
These PhD positions are not tied to a particular topic.
The research can be in any area that falls within the expertise available in the department.
