We invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates to work with Professor Ben Green. Both positions are fixed-term for three years, and the post-holders will be based at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford.

The successful candidates will perform and manage mathematical research projects in one or more areas of pure mathematics, related to the interests of Professor Green, including additive combinatorics and parts of analytic number theory, harmonic analysis and combinatorics. They will contribute to the activities of the wider Number Theory research group, for instance by participating in the informal internal seminar series run by Profs Green and Maynard, and write up the results of their work, either singly or with co-authors, for publication in refereed journals and proceedings.

You will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics or a related discipline, and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
