The Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences is seeking a researcher with experience in the fields of mathematical logic, computational complexity and proof complexity. The Department of Mathematical Logic and Theoretical Computer Science, in which the successful applicant will work, has a long tradition of excellent research in these fields. We are looking for a young researcher who has achieved significant results in this area of research. This is a tenure track type position; after two years, the candidate will be evaluated and, in the positive case, offered a long-term position in accordance with the Career Development Rules of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

The successful applicant will perform research in the Department of Mathematical Logic and Theoretical Computer Science. He or she will also take part in other activities such as organization and active participation at seminars, workshops, and conferences. No teaching is involved. We require verbal and written English communication skills and abilities to work both independently and collaboratively.
