Postdoc in Decentralised Finance and Digital Economics at Oxford

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Professor Hanqing Jin. This is a two-year, fixed-term position, and the post-holder will be based here at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, in the world-leading Oxford Octa Lab in Digital Economics.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Mathematical and Computational Finance research group with responsibility for carrying out research for the project, under the supervision of Professor Hanqing Jin. They will perform mathematical and/or computational research in the area of mathematical finance, decentralised finance and financial big data at the Oxford-Octa Laboratory in Financial Big Data and Digital Economics, write write their results up for publication and fully participate in the activities of the Oxford-Octa Lab, whilst also managing their own academic research and administrative activities.

You will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics, computer science or a related discipline, and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes, alongside a good level of programming skill in Python, R or similar programming platforms.
