Four Open Professorships (f/m/d) @University of Bremen
The University of Bremen invites applications for four (4) professorships in the field of Computer Science (Faculty of Mathematics / Computer Science):
• “Lifelong Machine Learning” (Full professorship, salary grade W3, tenured)
• “Software Engineering for Cognitive Robots and Cognitive Systems” (Full professorship, salary grade W3, tenured)
• “Artificial Intelligence” (Endowed professorship, salary grade W2, with tenure track to a permanent W3 position)
• “Cognitive Robotic Manipulation” (Cooperation professorship together with the German Aerospace Center, salary grade W2, limited to a period of five years)
All four professorships are embedded in a strong AI ecosystem, including the interdisciplinary high-profile area “Minds, Media, Machines”, in which approximately 35 professors and more than 380 researchers collaborate to advance our understanding of intelligence and cognition in autonomous agents and agent teams.
