EWM Portugal
The following EWM related/relevant activities have taken place in Portugal in the 2020-22
reporting period:

2020
• Disseminate the open letter from the EWM.
• Agreement with the Portuguese Mathematical Society which makes possible to pay the EWM membership fee through the Society.
• Stablish contacts to promote joint initiatives with CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries).
• Talk “On the maths of the math gender gap”, meeting Women in Science and Technology: Breakthroughs and Current Figures, March 9, 2020.

2021
• Meeting Mulheres Matemáticas: uma tarde de encontro, online event, January 27, 2021.

2022
• Seminar Mathematics Teaching and Research in Angola: achievements and challenges, June 1, 2022, University of Coimbra. Integrated in the 2022 Events Celebrating Women in Mathematics.
• The second edition of the Women in Mathematics Meeting in Portugal (WM22) will be held at the Center of Mathematics of the University of Minho from the 7th to 9th of September 2022.

Facebook group European Women in Mathematics (Portugal) for promotion, information management and discussion in the Facebook group of Portuguese mathematical women, in particular, dissemination of events, awards, scholarships and courses in the area of Mathematics.
