The research group led by professor Grigor Sargsyan at the Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdansk, Poland is seeking highly qualified candidates for a three year postdoctoral position in the NCN WEAVE-UNISONO project entitled Classifying Derived Models of the Axiom of Determinacy which starts November 1st 2022 and is funded by the National Science Center. The focus of the project is the classification of the derived models. The general area of the project is set theory, and within set theory it lies in the intersection of determinacy theory, forcing techniques, inner model theory and large cardinals.
Qualifications:
A. PhD in mathematics obtained not earlier than seven years before the year of employment (accounting for parental leaves).
B. Expertise and research interests in an area closely related to the project.
C. Good communication skills in English.
