Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2023, only using the “Application Form” https://konkurs.impan.pl/konkurs-machine-learning/. The application should contain a CV, a research statement and a list of publications.
By the same date two letters of recommendation should be sent by email to konkurs@impan.pl (in the subject of the e-mail, indicate please “Competition Machine Learning” and full name of the candidate).

Candidates are required to hold a PhD in mathematics granted not earlier than 2014. Achievements in applications of mathematics in industrial, insurance or banking projects will be considered as an additional advantage. The employment can commence on May 1, 2023 or later.
The successful candidate will be required to conduct intensive research activities within the IM PAN “Machine Learning” group, including research programs and grants carried out by it, as well as projects carried out in cooperation with industrial and business partners.
The competition will be settled in mid-March 2023, and the candidates will be notified of the result by letter. The condition for taking up a job is the candidate’s consent to include them in the number of people appearing in the application for a statutory subsidy and obtaining a leave (if applicable) from the home institution.
