The Department of Actuarial Mathematics wishes to appoint an assistant professor to strengthen and complement the expertise of the Maxwell Institute and Heriot Watt’s School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences.

We are interested in appointing a candidate working in areas of actuarial science, statistical data science, statistics or a related field, who will grasp the many opportunities to develop connections with world-leading groups across the University and contribute to the success of our Global Research Institutes and Frontier Research.
