An additional employment is offered within the NCN Sonatina project “Algebraic spectral gaps in group cohomology” led by dr Piotr Mizerka. The research project focuses on investigation of the phenomenon of vanishing and reducibility of group cohomology by means of finding spectral gaps of algebraic Laplacians. The focus of the collaboration on the project within the employment offered will be developing the software allowing to find spectral gaps.

Requirements:
 student, PhD student or a graduate of Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field,
 research interests related to the project’s subject,
 programming skill is welcome (Julia, Python, convex and positive-semidefinite optimization),
 good English proficiency.
