The Institute of Mathematics and Scientific Computing is looking for a
Lecturer with doctorate (m/f/d)
20 hours a week
fixed-term employment for 6 years*
position to be filled as of now

Your duties
Teaching of courses in mathematics education / teacher education (extend: 6 semester hours)
Participation in the development and evaluation of the mathematics teacher education curriculum
Participation in the organization and coordination of mathematics didactics
Collaboration in the Regional Center for Didactics in Mathematics and Geometry
Arrangement of school contacts
Participation in activities of the mathematics teaching-learning laboratory

Your Profile
Completed doctorate/PhD in the field of mathematics education
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of mathematics at a secondary school
Teaching experience at university level or other equivalent professional experience
Proven continuing education activities (desirable)
Above-average didactic ability and methodological competence
Commitment to subject didactics (e.g. in the context of continuing education programs, job-related networks or
collaboration on textbooks, etc.)
Experience in fostering mathematical giftedness and interest
Experience in task development
Teamwork and motivational skills (desirable)
Experience in inclusive teaching (desirable)
