Among other opportunities, there is N.1 fellowship funded by PNRR Project HPC in the following research line:

Mathematical methods for the predictability of extreme climate events.
The research project aims at developing mathematical methods to extract valuable information from high-dimensional data sets concerning Compound Weather and Climate Extremes for environmental applications. The target is to provide useful guidance about the long-term predictability of floods, droughts, heat waves, rainfall and sea storms, as well as on their possible future occurrence frequency and the ensuing socio- economic impacts.
