There is a PhD position available, to be filled by April 2025 at the latest. An earlier start is possible. The prospective student is supposed to carry out research in the DFG project “Curvature flows with local and non-local sources” and is given the opportunity to write a PhD thesis on this topic at Goethe-University in Frankfurt under supervision of Prof. Julian Scheuer. There are no teaching duties, but active participation in the activities of the Analysis group is strongly encouraged.

Good knowledge of differential geometry and some knowledge of PDE is desirable. Excellent would be some experience with curvature flows.

The salary will be 75% of an EG13 post and its duration is 3 years.
