Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Additive Combinatorics and related areas
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position, to work with Professor Ben Green at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a full-time, fixed term position until 31st July 2021 and funded by the Simons Foundation.
The successful candidate will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research as part of the project. Candidates with research expertise in additive combinatorics or a related area are encouraged to apply. They will also be given the opportunity to undertake teaching which will not exceed 3 hours per week for 24 weeks per annum.
Applicants will be expected to have, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics or a related discipline; possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes and the ability to manage their own academic research and associated activities.
