During the week March 8-14, EWM and MATH+ organized a screening of the movie Picture a Scientist. In connection with the screening, a discussion panel on gender balance was held on Thursday, March 11.

The program for the event included:

● 19:30-19:35 Introduction by Marie-Françoise Roy;

● 19:35-19:55 Sexual harassment, and the Gender Gap by Kathryn Clancy (UIUC);

● 19:55-20:15 Contributions by Ingrid Daubechies (Duke), Carola-Bibiane Schönlieb (Cambridge), Bernd Sturmfels (UC Berkeley and MPI Leipzig), and Andrea Walther (Humboldt);

● 20:15 Discussion with the audience.
