Women in Maths talk by Tien Truong
Being a tech engineer intern as a mathematician
Tien Truong is pursuing a PhD in mathematics at Lund university and recently, she has completed a 6-week internship as a tech engineer at a startup in the autonomous vehicle business. In this talk, she will share with you why & how it happened, and how it was like to be at a tech company as a mathematician.
Time and Place:
The talk will take place on the Thursday, December 16th, 17:15-19:00 at Sölvegatan 18 MH:H and on zoom.
After the talk we will gather for fika. Please send an email to women@maths.lth.se if you intend to participate in this part of the event, and please inform us of any dietary restrictions you may have. We will serve glögg, saffron buns and gingerbread cookies.
