2 Postdocs in Mathematical Physics at Oxford
We invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics, funded by the ERC and Simons Foundation, to work with Professor Sakura Schafer-Nameki at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. Both positions are fixed-term for three years and available for an immediate start.
The successful candidates will be part of the Mathematical Physics research group exploring different aspects of conformal field theories, supersymmetric gauge theories and dualities and their geometric realization. They will manage their own academic research and administrative activities, contribute ideas for new research projects, collaborate in the preparation of research publications and present papers at conferences.
Applicants will be expected to have, or be close to completing, a PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics, and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes alongside the ability to manage their own academic research and associated activities.
