The UCL Department of Mathematics invites applications for the position of Associate Professor or Professor of Pure Mathematics from candidates with an outstanding record of academic research and publication in any area of Pure Mathematics. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out and disseminate their research, including supervising PhD students and generating income to support research, and seeking to maximse the impact of that research. Responsibilities will also include the development of, and participation in, the Department’s teaching programme at undergraduate and graduate level. Duties will also include supporting the administrative and management roles of the Department.
