The University of Konstanz has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and Excellence Strategy since 2007.The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Sciences seeks to fill a JUNIOR PROFESSORSHIP FOR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS by 01.10.2020. The successful candidate is an acknowledged expert for the analysis of partial differential equations. He or she will represent the field in research and teaching and contribute to the general teaching duties of the department. He or she actively collaborates within the department’s core research area „Analysis and Numerics“ which is focussed on the theory and numerics of partial differential equations, with particular emphasis on models of mathematical physics.
