The successful candidate is an acknowledged expert in the analysis of partial differential equations, in particular of evolutionary type. He or she will represent the field in research and teaching and contribute to the general teaching duties of the department. Committed cooperation within the department’s core research area “Analysis and Numerics”, which is focussed on the theory and numerics of partial differential equations, with particular emphasis on models of mathematical physics, is expected.
