We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a Lecturer position in Mathematical foundations and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within the School of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Southampton.

The position is intended for researchers in mathematical sciences or related quantitative disciplines with interests in the mathematical foundations of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science as well as novel interdisciplinary applications of these to other fields. You will have a track record of excellent research in Mathematics or an aligned discipline with an emphasis on Mathematical Foundations of AI and Machine Learning, ideally with interests that span across to other areas of Mathematical Sciences.

The position is a full-time permanent role.
