Lecturer in Mathematics, University of Galway, Ireland
Applications are invited for two appointments as Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Galway. The appointments will be made on the salary scale above the bar and will commence on September 1, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are seeking to recruit talented and committed Lecturers in Mathematics for teaching, research and service. We are looking to broaden our mathematics research and teaching portfolio in a way that will build on, and complement, our existing strengths. Applicants are invited from any area of Mathematics.
The appointees will contribute to teaching, graduate supervision, and research activities within the School, and will be expected to take a leading role in curriculum design and development. The School runs a range of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes across the mathematical sciences, including shared interdisciplinary degree programmes in Financial Mathematics & Economics and in Mathematics & Education. It also runs a vibrant PhD programme. The appointment is aligned to the de Brún Centre for Mathematics within the School, which fosters research and graduate training in the areas of analysis, algebra, geometry and topology.
The responsibilities of this post will include contributions to the delivery and management of our Mathematics programmes, including the BSc in Financial Mathematics and Economics.
