The School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh invites applications for a Lectureship/Readership in Mathematical Physics. We are seeking candidates with an outstanding track record of research in mathematical physics, including but not restricted to the areas of quantum field theory, gravitational theory, holography, formal aspects of condensed matter theory and string theory. The appointment may be made at the level of Lecturer (Assistant Professor with tenure) or Reader (Associate Professor) depending on experience.
