The application should contain a CV, a research statement, a list of publications and suggested names of people with whom the candidate would like to collaborate.

The offer concerns a position of the IM PAN professor or a full professor for a period of four years on a half-time basis, starting at the beginning of the academic year 2023/2024, for a candidate with substantial research achievements in the field of mathematics.

The successful candidate will be required to conduct intensive research activities in teams at the IM PAN, including teams implementing national and international research programs, as well as didactic and organizational activities (organization of conferences and seminars, supervision of doctoral students, conducting a monographic lecture/seminar).

The competition will be settled in mid-June 2023, and the candidates will be notified of the result by a letter. The condition for taking up a job is the candidate’s consent to include them in the number of people appearing in the application for a statutory subsidy, and obtaining a leave (if applicable) from the home institution.
