The Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University has an opening for a PhD position in the division of mathematical statistics starting in spring 2024, or by mutual agreement. We are looking to hire a student for a project on random matrices and extreme value theory supervised by Johannes Heiny. A project description can be found at
