Within the federal excellence cluster “quantum universe”, there is an opening for a PhD position under the supervision of Ingo Runkel starting in fall 2022. The successful candidate will conduct research in Mathematics or Mathematical Physics related to conformal and topological field theory, state sum models and bulk-boundary duality. She/he will participate in and contribute to the interdisciplinary activities in the Quantum Universe cluster. The position involves a teaching duty of 2.5 teaching hours per week. The teaching can be done in English or in German.
