PhD Student Position (f/m/d)
(Ref. 19/23)
in the Research Group
“Interacting random systems”
(Head: Prof. Dr. W. König) starting at the earliest possible date.
The applicant must at a minimum hold a master’s degree in mathematics or related field with high emphasis on probability. The successful applicant will be part of a team performing rigorous probabilistic and analytic work on spatial random systems as models for chemical, physical and engineering processes. Knowledge in statistical physics, percolation or stochastic geometry will be helpful.

The appointment is initially for 24 months. The work schedule is 29 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD scale.
