PhD student position (f/m/d)
(Ref. 22/23)
in the Research Group
“Interacting Random Systems”
(Head: Prof. Dr. W. König) starting at the earliest possible date.
The task is to analyze stochastic models for the dynamics and statics of large interacting systems to support the research directions in the group.
An academic university degree (master’s or diploma) in mathematics or a closely related field is expected. Knowledge in the areas of stochastic processes, large deviations; statistical mechanics and/or marked point processes would strengthen your application.

The appointment is initially for 36 months. The reduced work schedule is 29,25 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD Bund scale.
