The working Group Optimization of Complex Systems at the Mathematical Institute of the Koblenz University invites applicants for a PostDoc position within the project “Fluid dynamic shape optimization with phase fields and Lipschitz methods” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The aim of the project is to develop novel computer-aided and mathematical tools for mathematical shape and topology optimization. We are looking for a PostDoc with a strong background in numerical methods for PDEs and nonlinear programming, who ideally comes with a comprehensive background in the field of shape and topology optimization.
