The advertised post doc position is associated with the research group Mathematical Data Science (web: https://mds.univie.ac.at) of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Philipp Grohs (email: philipp.grohs@univie.ac.at). We are looking for a highly qualified researcher with special interests in application oriented mathematics, for example information theory, applied functional analysis, signal processing, harmonic analysis, numerical analysis and/or statistical learning.
The successful candidate is able to actively contribute to the research profile of the Faculty and to teach courses (holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement). The candidate will carry out personal tutoring and assist in the continuous assessment and development of the teaching programme.
