Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Representation theory

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position to work with Professor Dan Ciubotaru at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term position and is funded by an EPSRC grant which ends on 31st August 2020.
The successful application will perform and manage mathematical research on projects involving the use of Dirac operators in the areas of representation theory and harmonic analysis of reductive Lie groups, affine Hecke algebras, and rational Cherednik algebras. They will also be given the opportunity to undertake teaching which will not exceed 3 hours per week for 24 weeks per annum.
Applicants will be expected to have, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate expertise in representation theory and Lie theory, good communication skills, and a track record of project delivery.
