The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Leibniz Universität Hannover invites applications for a

University Professorship (W2 with Tenure Track to W2)
in Mathematical Modelling especially in Biosciences

starting October 1, 2020. The initial appointment will be limited to 5 years. After positive evaluation, the candidate will receive a tenured professorship.

The job announcement is part of the Joint Federal Government-Länder Tenure-Track Programme to promote junior researchers. It is aimed at young researchers with outstanding potential for a successful academic career.

The main focus of research of the candidate shall be on the mathematical modelling and the analytical study of models which especially describe bioscience processes by means of differential or integral equations.

The application deadline is January 31, 2020.
