The Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main invites applications for the following position as a civil servant or public employee starting at the earliest possible date:
Professorship (W2) for Geometric Analysis
We are seeking a candidate widely recognized for excellent research complementing the strengths of the Institute of Mathematics and in particular the existing groups in Partial Differential Equations and Differential Geometry. Candidates must have a track record of internationally recognized publications in the area of geometric analysis and are expected to show a willingness to cooperate and commitment in the acquisition of third-party funding.
The successful applicant will be actively involved in the teaching tasks of the department with an emphasis on analysis and including teaching service for other faculties and within academic self-administration. The professorship is also involved in teacher training; experience and concepts for teaching subject content in schools are welcome.
