Research Technician in supervised learning and game theory – IA4TES project
Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM is offering a research technician position in supervised learning and game theory to work with Santiago Mazuelas at Machine Learning research line. The research technician will develop supervised learning techniques based on a minimax approach. In particular, he/she will develop the learning algorithms, implement them, test their performance, and analyze their mathematical properties.
Contract: 1 year

Requirements: Promising young researchers
Applicants must have their Bachelor’s or Master degree preferable in Mathematics or related fields.

Interest and disposition to work in interdisciplinary groups.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
Ability to effectively communicate and present research ideas to researchers and stakeholders with different backgrounds.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
The preferred candidate will have:
Strong background in mathematics
Good programming skills, including some experience working with Matlab
