The Institute for Numerical Mathematics at TU Dresden seeks to appoint a scientific employee on a permanent appointment, starting from 01.09.2022.

The candidate should have a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Optimization.
Research should be conducted in optimization, preferably in numerical algorithms for problems and applications in discrete optimization.

Further duties of the candidate include teaching, supervision of BSc and MSc projects and some administrative duties.
