Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Mathematics of UCL invites applications from candidates for a Teaching Fellow /STACK technologist post. The successful candidate will coordinate the development of online assessment and teaching using STACK, and act as a champion for STACK within the department. They will also promote and develop the use of technology within the department to ensure online teaching materials are accessible to all students.

The post is for 3 years in the first instance, starting as soon as possible, but no later than 1st December 2020.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to lead development of STACK assessments in coordination with members of the department. They will be passionate about the use of technology in teaching assessment of Mathematics. The successful candidate must have a good masters level qualification in Mathematics and be able to demonstrate computer coding ability in Maxima, Python or some similar programming language. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills and show commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students as well as be passionate about the use of technology in the teaching and assessment of Mathematics.
Outstanding candidates will demonstrate experience in use of technology for teaching and using STACK for online teaching and assessment. They will have a PhD or equivalent qualification in mathematics or related subject area and have experience of teaching mathematics at undergraduate level.
