University Professorship in Analysis (Salary Scale W3 NBesO)

We seek for applicants who have demonstrated their capacity for research and teaching in the area of analysis at a high international level. The successful candidate should have a research profile in a modern branch of analysis, e.g. partial differential equations, geometric, microlocal or harmonic analysis or functional analysis. Moreover, links to applied mathematics or geometry are desired. The new professorship should establish scientific cooperation within the faculty. Relevant experience in the acquisition of externally funded projects is expected.
The position includes a participation in undergraduate mathematics education, in particular, within the teacher training courses and for students of computer science, engineering and natural sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach selected courses in English.
