the areas Topology, Differential Geometry, Algebraic Geometry or Arithmetic Geometry.  The professorship has been created in connection
with the Cooperative Research Center CRC/TRR 326 ‘Geometry and Arithmetic of Uniformized Structures’ (https://crc326gaus.de/), therefore candidates with research profiles supporting the CRC will be given preference.
