Applications are invited for the WILLIAM GORDON SEGGIE BROWN Research Fellowship in Mathematical Sciences, tenable at the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. The Fellowship will commence September 2024 or other agreed date.

The successful candidate should show very considerable promise in research, and would normally have relevant qualifications for the role by the time of taking up the fellowship. The Fellow will pursue world-class research throughout the fellowship, as well as contributing to the teaching activity of the School of Mathematics. In the application, applicants must explain their current research interests and the research planned for the period of the fellowship.

The Fellow will be associated to one of our existing research themes and will be supported by an academic mentor.

The starting salary will be in the range of £37,099 – £44,263, depending on experience.
